To our friends and loyal readers:

You may be wondering why we have not posted for the past two weeks: Ellie had not been feeling well for quite some time and was finally diagnosed with Dermatitis Herpetiformis and Celiac Disease, conditions requiring her to be gluten-free for life.

After some painful gluten withdrawal headaches, Ellie is now feeling better and tackling the cumbersome process of reducing her gluten exposure. (Who knew there was gluten in eye cream, lipstick, and conditioner? Taking responsibility for your health can be quite tedious sometimes!)

We will have a new post next week providing more information on these disorders. (If you have any gluten-free suggestions for Ellie, please contact us. She would greatly appreciate any advice.)
